This type of plating will last much longer time than standard gold plating. Standard gold plating isn't as resistant and will lead to quicker fading and corrosion but these items need to be looked after carefully to sustain their plating.

Following these guidelines to look after your plated jewelry:

please put your jewelry on last after cosmetics, perfume, hairspray & other chemical substances that can be corrosive.

keep away from chlorine & keep jewelry in your jewelry box or bag when not wearing !

To remove dirt or other debris, lightly dab with water and dry completely with a clean cotton towel. after the jewelry piece has been dried completely, rub the sunshine cloth over it to polish.  for quick touch  ups skip the water and polish with the sunshine cloth only.

Ways To Clean Your Silver jewelry  

all you need is warm soapy water, a small bowl and soft cloth. Soak the your piece(s) for a few minutes. If your jewerly is really dirty you can use a soft bristled toothbrush and gently brush over. Use the cloth to take off the excess water and lay flat to dry.
